Hi, I started the Paul McKenna Diet and want to keep track of how it goes. I have about 20 pounds to lose. Those last 10 are always the point where I throw in the towel.

And yes, being on McKenna's has also made me aware of how often I've been eating out. I'm trying to cut back on that myself.
Just wanted to let you know about the Couch to 5k program. I'm currently doing it as well, i'm at the end of the third week. There are couch to 5 k forums on here too, just when you see something like C25K week 3 or whatever you can post on it and get motivation and give some to others :)
It's quite a great workout :D
Good luck with your training, and never give up! Do it for fun and dont think of it as a chore! :)
Back to work again today after a week off. It's not so easy at work to follow this program. The number 1 rule, eat when you are hungry is very difficult. I'm a teacher and I got hungry at around 10 am. My lunch is at 11:30. There is no possible way to eat at 10 am when I was hungry.
Today is easter. Not too concerned. I'll be going to my inlaws for a nice sitdown ham dinner. I'll tell them all about my new way of eating and they'll be fine with it.
For breakfast I ahd a bowl of cerial. I was hungry but really didnt feel like eating so I only finished half the bowl. Then for lunch I made a sandwich which I ate slowly and finished the whole thing. I'm concentrating on that "full" feeling. After eating the sandwich, I didnt really feel full, but know I don't need to eat anything else because it satisfied me.
Thanks Mike for your support in this. I enjoy reading your entries and glad you started this forum. I'll let you know how tonite goes.
As for tonight, try to be aware, but enjoy your time on your date also. I went out last night and while I didn't follow the rules completely, I did eat much slower than normal (and made sure I put my fork down while I chewed). My son (he's 13) even asked me if I didn't like my food as he noticed I kept putting my fork down :) Good news is I only ate half my meal, where normally I scarf down everything, so I felt very good about that.
